Ponyo in UK
Ponyo, the latest animation film of Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, has been released in Edinburgh thismonth. From the distributors Optimum, who have the license for Ghibli product in UK, Ponyo was planned to be released in cinemas nationwide on February 5th at first yet due to some cooperation problem, it has been delayed to March and DVD will be released in mid June 2010. However the film was released in Japan in 2008 and in US in the early 2009.
